Description

Crataegus x lavalleei has dark-green, glossy foliage that turn red and bronze in autumn. Clusters of white flowers and borne in spring, followed by large, orange-red fruits (haws) in autumn, that provide a feast for wildlife. Branches are spikey and provide the perfect nesting sites for small birds. Will grow up to 5m x 4m and forms a dense crown. It will tolerate most conditions including damp and coastal sites.
