Pinus sylvestris (Scots Pine) is one of only three Native conifers and our only Native Pine, so it really is special! They can live for up to 700 years, reach a height of 35m and they're evergreen too. Its needles have a blue tint to them and are slightly twisted. It bares clusters of yellow flowers that are followed by the well-known pine cones.
