Field Maple (Acer campestre) is a native deciduous hedge, or large tree if grown individually. It can be used as a single species or in a mixed hedge. It produces green leaves in Spring and Summer, followed by yellow in the Autumn. It is suitable for any soil, but well drained is best. It will grow in any position, windy,shade,exposed or coastal areas.
