The beauty of decidous hedging is the change in the colour scheme throughout the year for example a beech hedge has a fresh green glow in spring as the leaves emerge, maturing to a beautiful deep green during the summer months.  As the year ends, the beech hedge is at it's best with gorgeous autumnal colours and when the leave have gone, the winter hedge has a beauty of its own.
