Guelder Rose (Viburnum opulus) is common across Europe but is a British native plant. It has white flowers which are followed by red translucent fruits which stay on the plant long into Winter. It can be incorporated into a mixed hedge but can also be grown on its own when it will make a large shrub.The maple like leaves turn lovely colours in Autumn.Most situations including wet or boggy soils.
