The White Colorado Fir is a large, dense, evergreen conifer with attractive, silvery-blue-green needles. From young trees they form a conical habit but as they mature their shape becomes more domed. Insignificant flowers are followed by pale, blue-green cones that grow on the upper third of the tree. This fir is very slow growing so makes an ideal low-maintenance conifer for a large garden or space.
