'Red Sunset' is another fantastic Acer rubrum variety with an intense display of autumn foliage colours, in autumn before the leaves fall. It has typical Maple flowers in spring, followed by winged (helicopters) seeds in autumn. It differs from other Maples with a more upright habit so ideal for a slightly smaller/more narrow space.
