'Obelisk' is a small tree or large shrub with a dense-forming, upright habit, growing up to 5m high by 2.5m wide. New leaves are bronze in colour, providing early interest, then maturing to green throughout spring and summer. Star-shaped, white flowers appear in spring, with noticeable green centres. In autumn leaves turn orange before falling, leaving dark-red/purple fruits on the bare stems. 'Obelisk' really is a delight of a plant, suitable for any garden or space, in full or partial sun, in a well-drained soil.
