Cotoneaster are a brilliant family of shrubs and trees and Rothschildianus is no exception! Unusually it has creamy-yellow berries rather than red, but still holds the same characteristics of dense, deep green foliage, all year round. Clusters of creamy-white flowers emerge in spring, along the top of the branches, which get pollinated and produce masses of berries in the autumn. These Cotoneaster trees are ideal if you specifically want evergreen trees. They are however, decievingly fast growers and do take some clipping to keep under control. Great for wildlife, particularly in autumn/winter as safe cover and berries for birds .
