A really special Crab Apple variety for its clusters of large multi-toned flowers of soft, baby-pinks through to rich cerise, in mid-spring. Its foliage is equally as impressive emerging as bronze-red and slowly developing  tones of bronze, purple and green before turning yellow again in autumn. In autumn the crab apples form  a display of shades of purple and orange. They can be used for culinary purposes or left on the tree for winter interest and as a source of food for wildlife, particularly birds. It forms a rounded tree that will frow up to 5m high by 4m wide. It is tolerant of most conditions, avoiding very wet.
