The Antarctic Beech is a bit of something different, with small, sweet-scented, crinkled, beech-like leaves that are a deep green in spring, looking almost like an evergreen, but turning to yellow, before falling in autumn. It will reach up to 12m in height by about 8m wide so requires a large garden or parkland to really thirve and be appreciated as a specimen tree. A not very common tree; many will be baffled by what species it is.

Don't forget to consider:
Wooden stake to support the tree - buy here.
Tree tie to secure your tree to its stake - buy here.
Tree and Shrub Compost to add a layer of good soil in the planting hole - buy here.
Mycorrhizal fungi to encourage strong, new roots - buy here.
