A columnar, narrow growing, flowering Cherry variety ideal for smaller spaces requiring a very upright habit of tree. Hiding telegraph poles are often their use of planting. Amanogawa will grow to height of approx 6m tall, by 2m wide. In spring the bald, vertical branches become smothered in pale-pink cherry blossom which looks absolutely stunning! The flowers are large, semi-double and have a slight fragrance. Foliage turns orange and red in autumn providing a fantastic autumnal display. Amanogawa holds an RHS award. It will tolerate most conditions as long as it has plenty of light.
