A Cherry tree with a rounded crown with clusters of small, single, bowl-shaped white flowers in May. Leaves are unusual for a Cherry and more like that of a Willow, with long, narrow, serrated, dark-green leaves throughout spring and summer, turning shades of orange, red and yellow in autumn. Its trunk bark has stunning, glossy, copper-brown, shiny bark that looks polished as the old bark peels off. The bark provides interest all year round, especially in winter.

This is a multi-stemmed tree. It can grow up to 8m in height by 6m in width. Will tolerate most conditions apart from very wet or shallow, chalky soil.

Don't forget to consider:
Tree and Shrub Compost to add a layer of good soil in the planting hole - buy here.
Mycorrhizal fungi to encourage strong, new roots - buy here.
