'Shirofugen' is a popular Cherry variety due to its long lasting blossoms that appear in April & May and hold its flowers into June. Buds are deep pink and flowers open to large, white, pink-blushed and form in clusters that droop. Young foliage is bronze coloured, maturing to green and turning to oranges and reds in autumn, before falling. Will grow up to 6m high by 6m wide, with a spreading shape. Will tolerate most conditions apart from very wet or shallow, chalky soil.
