Evergreen Holm Oak

Description

Features:
✓ Evergreen Oak
✓ Holly-like leaves
✓ Slow-growing

This Oak may come as a surprise to many but its a marvellous variety, keeping its holly-like leaves all year round. Catkins appear in spring and young green acorns form and mature to a dark-red before falling, in autumn. This Oak, similar to the Common Oak, is a large, rounded tree, growing up to 20m in height by 10m wide. These trees are fully hardy and tolerate exposed sights, even close to the sea. Tolerating full sun, dappled shade and most soil conditions, bar very wet.
