Quercus petraea (Sessile Oak) is a large, deciduous tree that forms a broad, rounded crown with leathery, dark green leaves that turn orange-brown in autumn, before falling. Typical Oak Acorns appear in autumn. It will grow up to approximately 15m tall by 10m wide. Sessile Oaks will tolerate most conditions except for very wet.
