Salix caprea 'Pendula' is a popular, dwarf, weeping Willow with bright-yellow, furry catkins in spring that provide a fantastic source of nectar for bees and other pollinating insects. Oblong green leaves have grey undersides and cover the branches attractively, throughout the year. In winter a good frost looks attractive on the bare, weeping branches and overal frame of the tree. Being a typical Willow, 'Pendula' also likes a wet spot and ideally in full sun. It will reach up to 2.5m high by 2.5m wide but can be kept smaller by planting in a container and pruning.
