A unique-looking Sorbus and really special variety of tree with deeply cut, lacey-like foliage. During spring and summer the leaves provide an attractive feature, then in autumn the foliage turn a mixture of reds, oranges and yellows, before dropping. Clusters of creamy-white flowers appear in spring, providing pollinators with a source of pollen early in the year. Then in autumn, the tree bares orangey-red berries that feed our birds throughout the winter. It forms a rounded shape, growing up to 5m in height, by 4m in width. This makes it an ideal small garden tree, where it will cast only dappled shade. Like other Rowans it will tolerate most conditions, avoiding very wet.
