Description

Syringa (Lilac) are fantastic large shrubs / small trees with large, conical clusters of highly scented flowers in spring. They are available in a range of colours including lilac-purple, pink, white and cream. They can reach up to 6m in height and around 4m in width, at a mature age. They can be kept smaller and more compact, by pruning yearly, after flowering. They are a hardy plant but they do require full sun and a well-drained soil.
