Common King's Lime

Description

This Lime is a fast-growing, deciduous tree with a neat, conical habit that will grow almost anywhere. Foliage is lush, lime-green and heart-shaped, turning a stunning, buttery-yellow in autumn, before falling. In summer, sweetly-scented flowers are bourne, followed by nut-like fruits in autumn. It tolerates pruning well so is often used in street scenarios where they can be pollarded or pleached. A large tree of up to 30m in height.
