A lovely, medium sized Birch variety with an upright, compact habit, ideal for creating screening or an avenue. Its typical peeling white trunk bark contrasts with its darker brown peeling stems adding interest even in the winter. As expected from a Birch its leaves turn golden before dropping in autumn. It will reach up to a height of 12m and spread to approximately 4m wide. Tolerant of most conditions including wind.
