A bushy, deciduous tree that will reach up to 15m or more in height. A perfect tree for a wet spot, as an alternative to Willow and Alder. It has beautiful peeling bark all year round which is initially reddish-brown turning almost black. In autumn its leaves turn yellow before dropping.
