This stunning, variegated Silver Birch is relatively NEW, having only been discovered in 1999, it is a treat as a specimen tree or as part of a group planting. The leaves have green centres with a cream margin and the whole tree has a conical, compact habit. It will grow up to 10m in height by 5m wide. Will tolerate wet soils but equally well-drained sites. Ideally it wants a full-sun position, it will tolerate partial shade but leaves will revert to plain green, losing its attractive variegated foliage.
