This Silver Birch, 'Fastigiata' in an upright, narrow variety with a columnar habit, similar to a Lombardy Poplar, that will grow up to 10m in height, by only 3m wide, providing an interesting shaped feature tree, suitable for smaller gardens. Catkins appear in spring and leaves turn yellow in autumn, before falling. It can also be used to create a screen, or line of trees as an avenue. It will tolerate most site conditions.
