Picea abies (Common Spruce or Norway Spruce) is a fast-growing, evergreen Spruce often popular as a Christmas Tree. It can grow to 40m tall and live for 1000 years! They have a tall, straight, triangular shape with a pointed top. Easily recognisable from its long, scaley cones that hang down from its branches.
