A marvellous variety of Hazel with large, deep-purple leaves throughout the growing season, providing an attractive large shrub/small tree. Plant with white flowering or leaved shrubs for good contrast. This is a big plant growing up to 6m in height and spread, but can be kept smaller by pruning. Will tolerate partial shade but leaves will lose their vibrant purple-red colour so best to plant in full sun.
