In early spring Cornus mas provides a beautiful display of bright yellow flowers, on naked stems, providing early interest in the garden. They'll grow up to 5m in height and spread so are ideal for the back of a border or as a specimen tree. In autumn its leaves turn reddish-purple before falling, providing a lovely autumnal display.
