Description

'Midwinter Fire' is a fantastic variety of Dogwood with bright orange and yellow stems throughout the year, which look particulary striking when bare in winter. Its name midwinter fire is descriptive of its firey colours. In spring, clusters of creamy-white flowers form, followed by berries in autumn. They have plain green leaves which turn oranges and reds in autumn, before falling.

Prune back 1/3 of old stems every year, alternating, to encourage new growth every year and keeping the rich colour coming year after year. Plant in multiples to get the best effect.
