Cotoneaster are a large family of plants but 'Cornubia' is one of a few varieties that grow into trees. It is a fantastic evergreen variety, holding its leaves well throughout winter. It is also very quick growing so makes for excellent privacy screening. It will reach up to 8m in height and up to 6m wide. It can be pruned and kept smaller or shaped. Clusters of creamy-white flowers are borne in spring, ideal for pollinators, which develop into an abundance of red berries in autumn that the birds love! Although it is classed as evergreen, some foliage take on hints of bronze, making a beautiful seasonal display, before some fall. Will tolerate most soils, avoiding very wet.
