'Butterball is a fantastic Crab Apple variety with a mass of pink buds in spring, that open into white blossom,  that is sometimes flushed with pink. Large, yellow Crab Apples develop in late summer into autumn and can be used for culinary purposes or just left on the tree to give interest and food for wildlife throughout winter. It will grow up to 4m high by 4m wide. Butterball will tolerate most conditions, in full sun or partial shade.
