Quercus castaneifolia, named after its chestnut-like foliage, (castanea meaning Chetsnut, folia meaning foliage) is a vigorous growing Oak that can reach up to 30m in height and forms an ovoid crown. It has elongated, deeply serrated leaves like a Chestnut has and acorns in autumn.
