A deciduous tree from North America, mainly in cooler climates, but in warmer climates it can be evergreen. Leaves are brownish-green, long and narrow like Willow leaves. Underside of the leaves is grey-blue on colour which shows when the leaves are upturned in the wind. Leaves turn yellow in autumn before falling.
