'Osakazuki' may just be the best Japanese Maple for its autumn colour display. Its leaves turn bright, scarlett-red, so intense and long lasting, for the best show in autumn. Typically it grows to approx 4m high, or smaller if kept in a pot and has green leaves throughout spring and summer. As per other Japanese Maples it does need a protected spot (from wind) and in a partial or dappled shade position to avoid scorching of the leaves. A true delight of a maple!
