The Japanese Maple 'Orange Dream' really is a lovely variety with orange and yellow new leaves in spring, that mature to green throughout the summer, then turning shades of yellow and orange again in the autumn with a fantastic display before the leaves fall. It is a small-growing variety up to about 3m, with an open habit, ideal for mixing in with a border to provide a splash of colour, or as a feature tree in a pot on a patio. Its stems are bright-green, contrasting against the leaves and providing some winter interest.
